Michael is a copywriter based in Portland, OR.
He did not go to portfolio school, but got a Master’s in Book Publishing from Portland State University after starting a bilingual literary magazine, Frontera, in Madrid.
He has a Comics Studies Certificate from PSU and a few publications in small journals. He speaks Spanish (fluently) and Polish (not so well), and values intersections of cultures and ideas.
In 2021 and 2024, he was awarded arts grants for a literary journal he leads.
